The mission of the Cultural and Linguistic Competency workgroup is to improve
the cultural and linguistic competency of our community’s system of care at the
service and organizational levels to benefit youth with SED and their families
by providing resources to eliminate cultural and linguistic barriers and disparities.
Participants will assess the existing service system, identify disparities, and implement strategies that assure that service providers possess the attitudes, knowledge and skills to effectively serve all youth and their families in our community.
